PHOTOS

(what eyes can and cannot see)

Behind the steel
I captured this picture in Quezon Memorial Circle for our Photojournalism class. I did not pass it, though I kept it because of the meaning it entails. We might interpret it differently, but what matter most is how you would see this in your own perspective of life or reality.

"The Buendia placard's Adventure"
PHOTO ESSAY

My partner and I were worried about our topic for our photo essay. We've been consulting our professor several times about our proposed topic but it was always a failure. Until one day (a day before the deadline), we realized that what we were looking for was near to us. it was then we decided to follow the adventures of a placard. Originally we called it "A DAY IN AL LIFE OF A PLACARD AND ITS MAKER". We found "Kuya" sitting at the right end corner of a waiting shed, painting placards enthusiastically.  We interviewed him and eventually asked if we could have a personalize placard. He agreed and he started doing our request. We asked him to paint the other side with Buendia, while our printed names on the other side. Once the placard was finished, we embarked on a journey, following the adventure of the Buendia placard.

NOTE: These pictures were taken as part of my requirements in my photojournalism class (A.Y. 2010-2011 Second Semester). Although some of the pictures were not exactly the same as my partner and I passed it, it still holds the memory of our adventure together.

TRUE SHADOW
My partner and I decided to stroll along the streets of  Luneta to capture some of the unexpected, interesting moments that may happen in the park. It was a fine day afternoon. Although the heat was scorching, we enjoyed taking pictures. This is one of the memorable photos of our adventures  in that our Photojournalism class let us experience. I hope the picture resembles enough story to capture your imagination.

BOY ANONYMOUS: Gazing Afar
Laguna is one of the places dear to me. It was All soul's day when I captured this photo. I was sitting in the tomb of my godfather, gazing at the beautiful sky. This boy was standing in a tomb much taller than us. I caught this boy staring at the far end of the cemetery, and found it interesting so I took a snapshot of him.

The excerpt that struck me most in the book "DAWN" by Elie Wiesel.

Nothing is more bizarre than how life works.

JEEP
A story never told...
A close classmate of mine, who I also regarded of one of the best photographer I've even known commented that I have captured a beautiful scene. Although, I only captured it by my own judgement that the scene would be meaningful ( and because I'm an amateur in photography and film camera) , i felt flattered.

SILENCE HAS SEVERAL MEANINGS
I love scribbling or drawing when i'm bored. It also depicts (often) my emotion. This was one of the results.

UNDERGROUND JOURNEY

An adventurous photo walk with my blockmates at the Quezon City (PHILIPPINES) circle...

 SOME RANDOM SKETCHES
It is my hobby to sketch or scribble when I'm bored or (felt) empty. The pictures above are just few of the sketches I had on my notebook.

NIGHT ESCAPE
I need to produce a picture with a moving object. TYhis is one the pictures I captured. Still blurry though...

CYCLES
One of the pictures I captured that i really find artistic and beautiful.

AIM HIGH
My best friend and I were having a photo walk around the subdivision when I asked her to jump to have a photo of him jumping. This is the result. When i asked her to do the same for me, unfortunately  the picture looked like I am kneeling in the grass. so I decided not to post it. It's funny really though...

Jerica is turning 18
The invitation I made for my cousin's debut. My own concept but i borrrwed some of the items i used in the internet (like the girl. I'm trying to learn how to something like it.)
Happy Birthday my Dear Cousin!
